You are warmly invited to bring your pets for a short Blessing of the Pets on Sunday, October 4, at 1:30 p.m. As we close the Season of Creation, we will gather to give thanks for the animals who share our homes, enrich our lives, and remind us of the beauty and wonder of God’s creation.

This will be a joyful opportunity to celebrate the pets in our lives as the special gifts and companions they are. Whether they are playful, quiet, furry, feathered, scaled, or small enough to be carried, all pets are welcome. Please ensure that animals are safely restrained  as appropriate, so that everyone can enjoy the gathering comfortably.

The blessing will also offer a gentle moment to remember and honour beloved pets who remain close in our memories. Those whose pets are no longer with them are warmly welcome to attend and may wish to bring a photograph or simply hold their companion in their heart during the service.

Come and share this meaningful time of gratitude, remembrance, and celebration. We look forward to seeing—and hearing—you and your pets.
