We celebrated a joyful Welcome Back Sunday as we gathered once again for worship and fellowship as a loving community. Heartfelt thanks go to all who volunteered, including the Men’s Bible Study group, whose help made the day especially welcoming.

St. Matthew has long been a spiritual home for all who seek comfort, genuine connection, and a community grounded in care and respect. The message of the service, based on the day’s readings, centred on forgiveness. We were reminded that true forgiveness is found neither in loose boundaries that enable harm nor in rigid boundaries that disable relationship. Rather, it encourages and empowers others through care, understanding, and companionship.

May this new program year be filled with God’s blessings, shared laughter and tears, and many opportunities to care for one another as we continue to grow in our service to the world.
