Oh, So Blessed!

An assortment of dogs and cats were seen, and heard, this past Sunday for a special Blessing of the Animals Service, officiated by Rev. Art Turnbull, in honour of St Francis of Assisi.

Our furry companions were honoured with music, prayers, and individual blessings. Candles were also lit for the pets who have passed on but live forever in the hearts of their families. We were happy to accept donations for the important work of Elizabeth’s Wildlife Center, located in Abbotsford, where small wildlife species are rescued, healed, and released.

After closing with The Blessing Prayer, we enjoyed some snacks and treats, while interacting with our very sociable animal guests. Thank you all for joining us and sharing your beloved pets!
