Isaiah 58: 3-9; Matthew 9:9-13

Today we welcome the Very Rev. Kevin Dixon, former Dean of Huron, presently Vice President of Operations for the International Justice Mission (IJM) to help us commemorate our Patron Saint St. Matthew and this Community named in his honour. Looking at Isaiah 58, Kevin helps us understand what can happen when people advocate for the poor. Kevin used visuals along with words to demonstrate that what happened when Jesus called Matthew from his life of selfish greed is still happening today! You and I can be part of the greatest "justice movement" in history as we learn what it means to follow Jesus in our daily lives.
