From our Parish ACW Co-chair, Frances McCrae:

"The money, $280, was collected for PWRDF over the course of a year by selling slippers, aprons, dishcloths and cards. We looked at the Gifts for Mission, talked it over and decided to send:

  • $125.00 to support partnership and healing in the Canadian North.
  • $85.00 to furnish a new dormitory for teenage girls seeking sanctuary at a Christian Care Centre in Melanesia.
  • $80.00 to provide a dairy goat for a family living with AIDS.

That actually comes to $290.00 which was covered yesterday by selling some candles after the Service, leaving $10.00 in the kitty. God will provide."
