Resurrection is the central narrative and hope of Christianity and is embedded within all of our core doctrines, traditions and rituals.   But as joyful and hopeful as resurrection is, the hard reality remains, that before there can be even the possibility of resurrection, there must be death.  What does this mean for us today?  Many suggest we are living in the dying embers of Christendom.  Can we believe that resurrection is about something more than about what happens after we die, that it can actually transform our present?

We invite you to join us for a "Coffee House Style" conversation on Thursday April 28 and May 12 as we together explore questions of death and resurrection on a personal and on a communal level.  The Event will be hosted by Paul Thiessen and Fr. Allen Doerksen
