Join us at 8:30 with a cup of tea or coffee to visit, or join at 8:55 to end the evening with the ancient office of Compline. Compline is a quiet, meditative service of prayers and music, meant as preparation for sleep and a peaceful night. It derives its name from a Latin word meaning ‘completion’ . Compline developed out of the monastic cycle of services that ran through the day and night. We will be exploring Compline services from various times and places around the world. You will have the opportunity to listen to Bible readings, prayers, and music. All of the microphones will be muted and the videos turned off, so you are welcome to read and sing along, or just listen, as is your preference. We are excited to be working together with St. Thomas Anglican Church in Chilliwack to host this service.
