Dear Friends,

We are at the one-year mark of the pandemic, or, as I like to say to Denise, "the ten years that is one year!"  Way back in the foggy past, people used to do things like...enjoy each other's company and not feel like they're getting ready to rob a bank (mask!) every time they go somewhere!
But, hope is coming. Even if that light seems a long way off we can now see it in the distance.
Thanks for your continued support of God's mission through our common life in Christ.  Week by week as we pray for one another and our world, as we share our gifts with one another and with the poor, God is continuing to work for the good of all.
As we enter the second half of Lent our eyes turn towards Holy Week.  This year our plan will run something like the following:
Maundy Thursday, April 1st -- Normally we'd gather for some sort of service (in the years immediately prior to the pandemic we gathered for "The Agape Meal").  This year our plan is to "take the Agape to the Community." We will have a drop-off of non-perishable food items in the parking lot (to be given to the Food Bank) and then each car will be given "a symbol or two of Easter."
Good Friday, April 2nd - We will post a "Stations of the Cross" service online, accessible through our website.
Easter Sunday, April 4th - At this point, we're not sure whether we'll be able to have an in-person service or not, so we're planning for both in-person and live stream options.  We are hopeful that some of us will be present but the next couple of weeks will tell that tale.
May God bless you all this week!
